We like to say that when an artist collaborates with Front Porch, we become that artist’s biggest cheerleaders. The Front Porch founders are artists who care about other artists, and we love nothing more than to see artists grow and learn through connections with one another and the community.
We frequently showcase artists and their work through our Salon Saturday events. If you’re interested in having your work shown to a new audience, email Tim and find out how you can be included in this monthly opportunity.
In the summer of 2015, we’ll be hosting an Artist Development Intensive, working with Southern artists to inspire creativity and collaboration. The results of the Intensive will then be produced for a local audience as a part of Potluck 2015. Interested in joining us? Send us an email. We’d love to meet you.
On August 15, 2015, Front Porch founders will host a workshop for local creative thinkers and artists who want to consider community in a new light. We’ll explore how to draw inspiration from our communities and our neighborhoods and how to infuse our own work, whatever that looks like, with that inspiration. Join us for a day of creating, storytelling, and collaboration with a community-based bent.
